Parents and Guardians
You might be a parent or guardian wondering why your child would want to give up an opportunity to go to university and choose the world of work instead. You might not have heard of solicitor apprenticeships before but want to help your child consider all the options available to them. If this is you, we want to help!
At Farrer & Co, our aim is to give you as parents or guardians the tools to assist you and your child in kickstarting their legal career. This section of our site provides you with an overview of the programmes we offer and the ways in which you can get involved.
How you can get involved
If your child applies to our solicitor apprenticeship programme and is selected to attend our in-person assessment day, we invite parents and guardians to also attend. You will get the opportunity to visit our office in Central London and hear from our Graduate & Solicitor Apprentice Recruitment Partner and to go on a tour of our office space. We will also cover your travel expenses.
If your child is successful, there is also the opportunity to come into our office again as part of our “bring your parent or guardian to work day”. This provides another opportunity to see our offices and meet our supervisors and Graduate & Solicitor Apprentice team once your child joins the firm.
